Benderspink options 'New West'

Benderspink will "The Completely New West," optioning Black Bull Media's graphic novel. The feature adaptation will probably be produced by Benderspink and Black Bull Media principal Gareb Shamus. Comicbook, launched in 2005, was composed by Jimmy Palmiotti and outlined by Phil Noto. Story concentrates on a blast creating an electromagnetic pulse that creates all technology to avoid used in La. A disgraced former LAPD detective endures a near-future deserted hostile atmosphere where the mayor remains kidnapped. Benderspink's creating Paramount's family actioner "Jitters," with Mike Mitchell onboard to direct, which is being created on "Burt Wonderstone," starring Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi and Jim Carrey.
